Zesty Citrus & Herb Marinade
This zesty citrus and herb marinade is perfect for grilled or roasted chicken, beef, lamb, and seafood. Ingredients :
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 lime , zested and juiced
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- In a bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, and honey until well combined.
- Add in the chopped herbs (rosemary, thyme, parsley, and cilantro) , lime zest and minced garlic, and whisk until evenly distributed.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Place the meat of your choice (such as chicken or fish) in a large resealable plastic bag and pour in the marinade, making sure it is evenly coated.
- Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
- When ready to cook, remove the meat from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
- Grill, bake, or pan-sear the meat until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
