Zesty Citrus & Herb Marinade

This zesty citrus and herb marinade is perfect for grilled or roasted chicken, beef, lamb, and seafood. The combination of rosemary, thyme, parsley, cilantro, garlic, and lemon creates a bright and fresh flavor that complements the richness of the meat or seafood. Ingredients :

  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 lime , zested and juiced
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

 

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, lime juice,  orange juice, olive oil, and honey until well combined.
  2. Add in the chopped herbs (rosemary, thyme, parsley, and cilantro) , lime zest and minced garlic, and whisk until evenly distributed.
  3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Place the meat of your choice (such as chicken or fish) in a large resealable plastic bag and pour in the marinade, making sure it is evenly coated.
  5. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
  6. When ready to cook, remove the meat from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.
  7. Grill, bake, or pan-sear the meat until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
